1.) Cut down turnovers: These have killed the Flyers the last two games. If they hope to contend with a solid Ducks team, they can't be throwing the puck around all willy-nilly like. Be smart!
2.) Emery needs to shine: Emery was dominate during the Flyers first two games of the season, but the last two have been kinda-sorta ugly. VERY kinda-sorta. 10 goals against during that span, granted most of those weren't his fault, (see Key #1) he needs to get back to how in played in games one and two of this year.
3.) Shut down the RGP Line: The combination of Bobby Ryan, Correy Perry and Ryan Getzlaf is one of the best in the entire league. During last year's playoffs, these three guys accounted for almost all of the Ducks offense. Shut down these guys and you will be in a good position to pick up the win. Sadly, the Ducks added the likes of Saku Koivu and Joffrey Lupul in the offseason, so they may not be as one dimensional this year.
Keep an eye on: Claude Giroux. Head coach John Stevens decided to pull his young star off the third line, where he played center and put him on the first line, where he will be a right winger. Mika Pyorala will slide down and center the third unit. This move may not be conducive to helping the depth, but it should help ignite the top line a bit.
